Geotechnical Monitoring Equipment, Install and Software
Solicitation number CRRP202208

Closing date and time 2022/08/16 20:00 EDT
Description
In the spring of 2020 and 2021, The Cariboo District was impacted by devastating landslides. A large slide on Quesnel-Hydraulic Road, located south of Quesnel, has significantly impacted the community by adding a minimum of 30 minutes commuting time and creating alternate route challenges for large trucks. The Ministry is moving ahead with an interim solution as fast as possible, which includes real time monitoring for potential future slide movement. In order to open this important route to the community, the Ministry must purchase geotechnical monitoring equipment to monitor slide activity and ensure public safety. Works are currently underway to repair the damaged roadway, but the road will not be permitted to open until the geotechnical monitoring equipment has been installed.
