South Island Natural Resource District Engineering Team invites qualified contractors to bid on a tender for Rock Development/Aggregate Crushing within the Maggie Lake Operating Area, approximately 1.5 hour’s drive West of Port Alberni BC.
The work required will entail the development of an estimated 5,000 m3 of 4-6” minus aggregate rock and 5,000m3 of 2” inch minus surface aggregate rock by means of drilling and Blasting, crushing and screening to create the required materials for future Ministry use on the Maggie Lake Forest Service Road
This contract requires the expertise of a company experienced with multiple phases of project delivery and construction, working in the forest sector, with multiple additional controls for sedimentation, public/recreational safety controls, and multiple shutdown criteria.
