    Description
    This tender includes the detailed design and scope of work to upgrade campground facilities at the Home Basin and Alces Lake campgrounds. In general, the work consists of the following:
    • Supply and install 1 new hand pump at a newly drilled well shown on the drawings including disinfection, flushing and testing in accordance with AWWA C654.
    • Supply and install 1 new Grey water treatment systems shown on the drawings
    • Removal of three (3) proximal 10’x12’ x 5” thick concrete slabs
    • Reclaim area under the 3 concrete slabs and supply ¾ crush for all 3 service pods
    • Supply and install gravel at 3 Garbage/Recycling locations
    • Install 3 new Double Garbage Bin (Owner Supplied and on-site) and the re use of the 3 existing recycling bins (Owner Supplied and onsite) will be used at these locations.
    • Abandonment of an existing raw water intake structure at Home Basin shown on the drawings
    • Remove 2 existing standpipes and all surface components including Brooks Boxes and valving shown on the drawings. Leave all other underground infrastructure in place.
    • Removal of 2 toilet pit toilets and all associated underground infrastructure
    • Install owner supplied Panabode Toilets and concrete Vault/lids.
    • Removal of Fresh water Sani Tower and all surface components related at Alces
    • Replace existing red sani-tower with owner supplied tower, paint red.
    • Remove old filtration plumbing connections and within Alces compound building and reattach plumbing to interior plumbing (to be performed by a qualified plumber)
