Description
FII’s programming focuses on two significant market trends—the growing recognition of wood products as renewable and sustainable, and increasing consumer demand for forest products that are produced in an environmentally responsible manner.
With these factors in mind, FII aims to articulate the benefits of wood as a sustainable, renewable building material that can help tackle climate change, as well as B.C.’s forest management and environmental practices and record in relation to other forest jurisdictions around the world.
FII’s efforts in this area are developed and delivered through the Market Outreach program and the naturally:wood brand and digital channels, through which we provide factual, consistent and credible information about the environmental benefits of B.C.’s forest products and the sustainable practices that underlie their production. FII produces a wide range of digital marketing and communications material for target audiences including architects, engineers, designers, building code consultants, construction professionals, real-estate developers, forest companies and their customers, academics and international delegations.
FII seeks to establish a qualified supplier list for Digital Marketing Services with one or more areas of expertise in respect to FII’s program activities that may include (but are not limited to):

- Search engine marketing (SEM) including strategy, campaign management, and reporting
- Search engine optimization (SEO) including strategy, audit, and reporting
- G4, goal configuration and custom dashboards
- Social media marketing including channel strategy and management, content and creative development, and reporting for LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, X and Instagram
- Influencer marketing including strategy, sourcing, management, and reporting
- Email marketing including channel strategy and management, and content and creative production, and reporting
- CRM consulting including strategy, audit, business advisory, platform selection, and data governance
- Campaign strategy including idea development, multi-channel digital campaign planning, content and creative production, and reporting
- Media buying including channel strategy and management, media purchasing, content and creative production, and reporting
Key sections to consider when responding to this RFQ include:
- Section 2.2: RFQ Service Description (page 7) – A summary of the services FII requires. Proponents should review this section to understand the RFQ requirements and how their expertise matches the type(s) of services FII is looking for. Submissions should address these service requirements.
- Section 4.2: Mandatory Requirements (page 11) – Proponents must meet the mandatory requirements to receive further consideration during the evaluation process. Proponents are encouraged to use the checklist provided as guidance to ensure submissions are complete.
- Sections 4.3-4.11: Evaluation Criteria and Scoring (pages 12-14) – Proponents should include evidence to support each of the evaluation criteria in their submission. This includes:
- Providing a Summary of Vendor Expertise;
- Outlining Vendor Qualifications and Samples;
- Detailing Staff and Resources;
- Providing References; and
- Listing Detailed Financial/Pricing.
