Description
Notice is hereby given that City of Prince George (the “City”) intends to direct award a contract to GeoAdvice Engineering Inc. (the “Supplier”) with respect to rehabilitating the City’s water model.
The Supplier has been recently contracted with the City to assist with the sanitary modelling (land use, demand and population) and has gained knowledge through that process that would be advantageous to the water modeling required for the City.
The Supplier has recently completed rehabilitation of the City’s sanitary model and has gained knowledge through that process (land use, water demand, and spatial allocation) that is directly applicable to the water model rehabilitation and will ensure consistency between water and sewer planning to avoid duplication of work. Additionally, the Supplier has been supporting the City with water system modeling for the past 3 years in the form of development reviews, adding new assets to the model, and identifying deficiencies in the model.
The value of the contract is expected not to exceed $140,000, and will include the following:
GIS model integration Existing data review Convert the existing InfoWater models to InfoWater Pro, and merge the North and South models into a single consolidated model. Pressure Zones review and updates Develop existing scenarios in the new model Existing demand and fire flow allocations Hydrant testing (50 locations) and model calibration Water Distribution System capacity analysis Sensitivity analysis of single family residential demands using metered rates Manual including instructions for updates, maintenance, calibration, and development reviews
