Description
Marion Pump Station has three (3) multi-stage vertical turbine pumps each complete with direct suction piping. The pumps are fed from Metro Vancouver’s Seymour Main No. 2 via the existing 500 and 450mm diameter steel supply mains. The pump station supplies water to Ramsay Reservoir and feeds Pressure Zone P-2 simultaneously. This Work includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Decommissioning, removal and disposal of the District-owned transformers, Motor Control Centre, control panel, pumps, piping, fittings and valves;
- Supply and installation of new Motor Control Centre, Variable Frequency Drives, Power Distribution Centre, control panel, pumps, motors, piping and fittings;
- Supply and installation of new BC Hydro Pad Mounted Transformer, service vault, meter box, standby diesel generator, concrete pads and retaining walls;
- Supply and installation of new HVAC, lighting, fencing, handrails and painting; and
- Structural modifications for new access hatch, skydomes, window and pump concrete bases.
