Description
The City of Maple Ridge invites Tenders for the 263 Street Reservoir Expansion project. The work generally consists of, but is not limited to:

All addenda, amendments or further information will be published to the City’s Bidding System website.
Tender submission requires the accompaniment of Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total Tender Price and a Consent of Surety to provide a Performance Bond and a Labour and Material Payment Bond if the tender is successful, each in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Tender Price.
The City of Maple Ridge will only accept submissions that include a Bid Bond in an electronically verifiable/enforceable (e-Bond) format. For more information regarding e-Bonds, Tenderers are encouraged to contact their surety company or visit the Surety Association of Canada at the following link:

Tenders will not be opened in public. Unverified tender results will be available via the City’s Bidding System website after the Tender Closing Time.
Tenders received after the Tender Closing Time are not permitted by the Bidding System and will not be considered. The definitive time for the purpose of this section, as well as any amendments or withdrawals of a Proposal, will be the Bidding System time.
The City of Maple Ridge reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders or to accept the Tender deemed most favourable in the interests of the City. The lowest or any Tender may not be accepted and the City will not be responsible for any cost incurred by the Tenderer in preparing the Tender.

- Major concrete demolition of the existing reservoir, pump station and altitude valve chamber
- Supply and installation of two new 3,000m³, bolted glass-fused-to-steel tanks, two new altitude valve chambers and two new flow meter chambers
- Integration between the new and existing facilities (new underground chemical lines and casing pipes from the existing pump station to the proposed new chambers and watermain connection to existing pump station and reservoir)
- On-site drainage improvements to accommodate the new reservoirs
- Relocation of an existing water service for the property located at 12121 264 Street from the current tie-in on 263 Street to a proposed new water service tie-in on 264 Street and switchover plumbing
- Re-grading and re-aligning of the existing 263 Street gravel access road, site grading, new fencing and new ditch work
- Site security cameras and programming
