Description
This ITT is an invitational solicitation run via one of BC Housing’s region-specific prequalified rosters for Prime Contractors. This second stage ITT has been posted publicly to enable Subcontractors and/or Trades who are interested in participating in the project to connect with the invited prequalified Bidders listed below. Only the invited, prequalified Bidders listed below may participate in the bidding process and attend the mandatory site visit.

A sign-in sheet will be provided, and all Bidders are required to sign in. Note that submissions will only be reviewed for those Bidders who have attended and signed the sign-in sheet. No exceptions to this will be permitted.
All questions and enquiries from the site visit must be submitted to the ITT Contact person prior to the date and time as per section 3.2 Timetable.
Representatives of your firm attending a site visit must provide and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
Brief Description of Work
McCammon Elementary School, situated in Chilliwack, encompasses an area of approximately 4,300 square meters. The initial segment of the structure was erected in 1962, and subsequent expansions were completed in 1964, 1966, 1990, and 1999. The building's framework consists of wood throughout, encompassing both the original section and all subsequent additions. Stucco primarily adorns the exterior walls. The windows in the 1962-1966 portions of the building are single-glazed and framed in wood. In contrast, the windows in the 1990 section feature single-glazing and aluminum frames, while those in the 1999 section are double-glazed with thermally broken aluminum frames. All operable windows throughout the building are typically configured as hopper-style.
The work includes Building Envelope Remediation and as further set out at Appendices:
a. Appendix E – Specifications and Drawings
For the complete scope of work, please refer to the project manual in Appendix E. The scope of work incudes but is not limited to:
• Removal of existing stucco cladding at existing wall assemblies and replacement with new stucco cladding, as per the project specifications and drawings;
• Removal of existing windows and doors and replacement with new windows and doors, as per the project specifications and drawings;
• Removal of existing shutters to facilitate installation of new windows, and re-installation of existing shutters, as per the project specifications and drawings;
