    Description
    August 9, 2022 -- MCFDVC-RFQ-061 currently posted on the old BC Bid site is now posted to the new BC BID site.  This is not a new opportunity and the current List(s) will expire on November 30, 2022.

    Qualified Suppliers on the List(s) previously established under RFQ No. MCFDVC-RFQ-058 and RFQ No. MCFDVC-RFQ-061 are not required to submit a new Response to this RFQ to remain on the List for the services and geographic locations for which they were qualified.  

    Please note that separate opportunities are now posted for each Service Delivery Area (SDA), and separate Responses are now required for each SDA.

    The Ministry is issuing this Request for Qualifications for delivery of staffed specialized residential services. These services are for Children and Youth with Special Needs who are eligible to receive Children and Youth with Special Needs Family Support Services based on Ministry policy. The List will be available to five Ministry Service Delivery Areas, including Coast North Shore; Vancouver/ Richmond; North Fraser; East Fraser; and South Fraser; and will be made available to the following Delegated Aboriginal Agencies in those geographic locations: Ayas Men Men Child and Family Services; Fraser Valley Aboriginal Children and Family Services Society; Heiltsuk Kaxla Child and Family Services; La Societe de les Enfants Michif; and Vancouver Aboriginal Child and Family Services Society.

    Qualified Suppliers will require the experience, capacity and qualifications to provide and manage staffed specialized residential services for children and youth with special needs in the identified geographic locations, including Aboriginal children and youth for whom those services are obtained through Delegated Aboriginal Agencies.

    The List of Qualified Suppliers will be in effect until November 30, 2019. The RFQ will remain open and posted on the BC Bid Website until that date. Respondents may submit a Response for consideration at any time while this Request for Qualifications is open.

    The Province will review Responses received before September 30, 2016 at 2:00 pm Pacific Time. After that date and time, the Province will review Responses on a semi-annual basis in the order in which they are received.

    This Request for Qualifications replaces the previous RFQ No. MCFDVC-RFQ-058 issued November 7, 2014.

    Qualified Suppliers on the List established under RFQ No. MCFDVC-RFQ-058, are not required to submit a Response to this RFQ to remain on the List for the services and geographic locations for which they were qualified.

    Qualified Suppliers must submit a Response as outlined in Section 8 - Response Details for Qualified Suppliers to qualify for additional geographic locations or Complex Medical Care Specialization.
