Description
The Ministry of Forests, BC Wildfire Service (the “Ministry”) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced Contractors to undertake a hangar wall retrofit project at the Mackenzie Fire Zone base in Mackenzie, British Columbia.
The project involves the removal of an existing bi‑fold hangar door and the construction of a permanent framed wall assembly, incorporating commercial roll‑up doors and fixed windows to support current operational requirements. The retrofit is intended to improve building reliability, thermal performance, security, and staff safety, while reducing long‑term maintenance demands and ensuring the structure is compliant with applicable codes and standards.
The anticipated Term will be from date of contract Execution to November 30th , 2026.
