Description
Chetwynd General Hospital is a small rural acute care facility located in Chetwynd, British Columbia, serving the local community and surrounding Northeast region. The original chiller has failed and is no longer operational. A temporary rental chiller is currently in use; however, it provides insufficient cooling capacity to meet peak seasonal demands and has experienced frequent service and reliability issues. This has resulted in inconsistent indoor conditions and increased operational risk to the facility. 

This project will deliver a permanent chiller replacement solution designed to meet the hospital’s operational requirements. The scope will include removal of the existing equipment, installation of a new chiller system, and associated mechanical, electrical, and civil upgrades. The new system will restore reliable cooling, improve energy efficiency, and support safe, continuous operation of the hospital facility.
