The approximate value of the award is $174,000 excluding applicable taxes.
The Township did not call for competitive proposals for the following reasons:
- Currently the Township operates existing LeeBoy paver,
- Operators are familiar with controls as this machine operates around many obstacles;
- Maintains standardization of the existing LeeBoy Pavers to reduce costs associated with parts, repair and maintenance;
- Existing Township Operator and Mechanic training; and
- At the time of this Notice of Intent the LeeyBoy Paver 8520B was available within the budget and short time frame for delivery.
Suppliers wishing to object to this decision should EMAIL a letter of objection presenting specific reasons for their objection by 10:00 a.m., local time, August 8, 2022;
This letter is to contain the following information:
- Reason(s) for objecting to The Township’s intent to award;
- A Detailed quote with information that demonstrates the supplier’s equipment, pricing, maintenance capacity, and ability to meet or exceed the requirements;
- Supplier’s name, address, email address and phone number; and,
- Supplier’s representative’s name and contact information.
