Description
This Notice of Intent (NOI 5284) dated August 13, 2024 is to replace Notice of Intent (NOI 3305) posted on BC Bid on October 19, 2023.
The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) hereby gives notice that it intends to extend a contract with Telus Health (Canada) Ltd., with an address of 400-411 Dunsmuir Street, Vancouver, BC, V6B 1X4 to continue to provide existing pension administration services for two additional years. The goal of extending the current contract is due to limited resources required for transition to a new vendor and for integration to ICBC’s new human capital management system.
This contract extension is anticipated to be two years from August 1, 2025 to July 31, 2027. The value of this contract is estimated to be $2,600,000.00 plus applicable taxes.
ICBC entered into a contract with Telus Health (Canada) Ltd. (FKA Morneau Shepell Ltd.), effective August 1, 2015 to perform pension administration services for COPE/ICBC Pension Plan, the ICBC Pension Plan for Management & Confidential Employees and the ICBC Supplemental Employee Retirement Plan. ICBC intends to extend the existing contract with Telus Health in order to provide continuous pension services while ICBC is implementing a new human capital management system.
ICBC intends to post a public procurement solicitation for the same pension administration services by September 2025.
Vendors wishing to object to this decision should send an email to Sourcing@ICBC.com by August 23, 2024 at 12:00 noon PT with specific reasons for their objection and citing “NOI 5284 Pension Administration Services” in the email message subject line. Vendor solutions and qualifications, compliance with B.C. laws and the ability to provide the same products or same level of service at a lower cost will be the key criteria with regard to the consideration of vendor’s objections.
