    Description
    The purpose of the RFP is to select a qualified Contractor to provide the following services:
    1. Manage, produce and distribute to Canada Post:
    • Assessment Notices
    • Decision Notices
    • Change Notices
    • Supplementary Notices
    • Property Assessment Appeal Board (PAAB) Notices
    • Indigenous Nations Assessment Notices
    • Bulk Mail Code Address Change forms
    • Notices of Hearing
    • Indigenous Nations Decision Notices
    • Indigenous Nations Change Notices
    • Indigenous Nations Notices of Hearing
    • Indigenous Nations Supplementary Notices
    • Indigenous Nations Assessment Review Board notices; and
    • Mail Outs
     
    1. Manage, produce and distribute to BC Assessment:
    • Error Notices
    • Reprint Notices (PDFs)
    • Decision Notices (PDFs)
    • Change Notices (PDFs)
    • Supplementary Notices (PDFs)
    • Property Assessment Appeal Board (PAAB) Notices (PDFs)
    • Notices of Hearing (PDFs)
    • Indigenous Nations Decision Notices (PDFs)
    • Indigenous Nations Change Notices (PDFs)
    • Indigenous Nations Notices of Hearing (PDFs)
    • Indigenous Nations Supplementary Notices (PDFs)
    • Indigenous Nations Assessment Review Board notices (PDFs)

    (1 and 2 above are collectively known as the “Deliverables”)
     BC Assessment requires Assessment Notices to be delivered to Canada Post by December 31 of each year for mail delivery on the first business day in January, and Decision and Change Notices delivered to Canada Post by March 31 of each year.  Note that the Contractor can expect to receive for printing up to approximately 2.3 million Assessment Notices around the second week of December. BC Assessment requires that Notices of Hearing are mailed on a daily basis within 24 hours of receipt between January and March each year to ensure sufficient, legislated time prior to the hearing is achieved. Strict adherence to all above dates is required, unless otherwise approved by BC Assessment. The volume of the notices may change over the duration of the contract.
