This is a re-posting of Request for Qualifications 1070-30/OT22FHQ233, which had an initial intake deadline of February 18, 2022. This re-posting is to provide for subsequent submissions for consideration into the supplier list, until the RFQ Termination Date of February 28, 2025. Submissions will be reviewed in a reasonably short time after receipt. All conditions and requirements in the RFQ remain unchanged.
**Note that any respondents who have previously responded to this solicitation do not need to re-apply.

Within the BC Ministry of Forests, the Forest Science, Planning and Practices Branch is responsible for policy and legislation relating to forest practices on karst terrain on Crown land.
There are several government initiatives underway with the goal of improving government communications about karst, improving management of forested karst, and finalizing a FREP protocol to evaluate forest practices on karst. Expert knowledge and experience on the subject of karst is required to assist in the completion of these initiatives.
The purpose of this Request for Qualifications is to establish a qualified suppliers list for karst training services. Types of services may include one or more of the following:
· Delivering training or leading technical workshops on the Karst Management Handbook;
· Delivering training or leading technical workshops on FREP karst evaluations;
· Delivering training or leading technical workshops on selected components of the KISVAP; and
· Delivering training or leading technical workshops on other karst-related subjects.
Interested Vendors are invited to submit a Response to this RFQ for the opportunity to be evaluated and determined whether they are eligible to be added to the Ministry's list of Qualified Supplier of karst training services.
Interested Vendors should familiarize themselves with the entirety of the attached RFQ and submit a Response as described in section 8 of the attached RFQ.
*For your information, there are a total of three karst-related RFQs that are being concurrently posted to BC Bid. Each of these RFQ's pertains to a different Service Area:
1) RFQ OT22FHQ233A: Service Area: Karst Training Services
2) RFQ OT22FHQ234A: Service Area: Technical Writing and Policy Review Services Relating to Karst;
3) RFQ OT22FHQ235A: Service Area: Karst Assessment Services
Vendors are welcome to submit a response to one or more of these RFQs.
