    ** Note:  the close date has been modified to reflect the entire lifespan of this RFQ and the opportunity to submit a response at any time during this period. HOWEVER, the DEADLINE for potential inclusion in the 2022 field season was 4pm, Feb 4, 2022 (extended from Jan 31, 2022). Any submissions received after this date will be reviewed on a quarterly basis for potential inclusion in the following year's field season.

    The Ministry of Forests, Forest Science, Planning and Practices Branch is seeking to qualify consultants experienced in the Forest and Range Evaluation Program's (FREP) wetlands value, in support of FREP's vision to collect and communicate trusted and scientifically robust natural resource monitoring information to inform decision making and improve resource management outcomes.
    Services may include one or more of the following tasks:
    · Training Ministry staff and consultants in wetland assessment methods as per the FREP protocol.
    · Co-training Ministry staff with a novice trainer (future trainer in training).
    · Collecting wetland assessment data using methods as per the FREP protocol.
    · Conducting Quality Assurance audits on previously assessed wetlands and providing mentoring to Ministry staff.

    The location of the tasks above will include field locations in various resource districts across the province (TBD). Once qualified, suppliers in each service area will be contacted on an "as, if, and when requested" basis to provide a quote for the provision of services.
