Description
City of Prince George (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified engineering consultant firms with the appropriate team of specialists, and sub-consultants, who can demonstrate experience required to provide pre-design, design related field investigations, and detailed design services over multiple years on a “non- exclusive/as needed basis” for replacing or upgrading existing storm assets.
This project is intended to provide construction-ready designs for various storm asset related projects identified through prior planning projects as well as preventative replacements for aging and failing infrastructure. There is no guarantee of volume and/or amount of work.
The required services under Annex 1 – Work Related Requirements may not be all-inclusive under this contract. The City may assign any task that is typical work considered to be in the area of professional expertise for storm asset projects.
The City anticipates awarding a contract as a result of this Request for Proposal (RFP) based on the Hoferkamp Outfall project to the highest scoring proponent and pre-qualify up to a maximum of three (3) Consultants who may be invited to submit proposals on additional storm asset projects for the next three (3) years with the option to extend the terms of the Contract by two (2) additional one (1) year terms.
For the purpose of this RFP, the Evaluation Criteria under Section 2.6.4 will be scored by evaluating the proposal for the Work required for the Hoferkamp Outfall project (see Annex 1 - Work Related Requirements).
The storm asset program consists of several multi‐year projects, which is subject to annual funding through the City’s Capital Expenditure Plan. Proposals must include the engineering and contract management services required to complete the Hoferkamp Outfall project.
