Description
The Scope of this RFP comprises the full range of Services to be procured by the Health Authorities. The Services are for the replacement, management and delivery of all Health Authority owned medical equipment currently used by the community equipment loan program (“Palliative Care”) in the Health Authority community sector.  The equipment loan program is successful in enabling patients to remain in their homes while receiving Palliative Care.
The Service scope is to provide appropriate storage, inventory, maintenance, delivery, installation, safety orientation, retrieval and cleaning and disinfecting of specialized equipment, including, but not limited to, hospital beds, mattresses, patient lifts, floor to ceiling poles, over-bed trapeze, and manual tilt chairs and cushions.
