Notice is hereby given that Fraser Health Authority ("FHA", the “Health Authority”), through their agent Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide 74 devices for Fraser Health Authority for a term of five (5) years at an estimated value of $ 500,000.

In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for the Health Authority has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason:
- the goods or services can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason:
- to ensure compatibility with existing products/systems
Rationale
FHA requires medical equipment data to flow wirelessly to Meditech software, which is currently manually transcribed. The Capsule solution is the only technology with a proven track record that can provide wireless connectivity with multiple medical equipment including Philips monitors and ventilators used at Eagle Ridge hospital and transfer data into Meditech Software.

PHSA will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration to each objection.
