Description
a) Is this ITQ for 2 compaction systems? Yes
b) What type of compactors are required? Self-contained compactors or stationary compactors. We are looking for a self contained compactor; a similar basis of design would be the Marathon RJ-250-SC2
c) What is the overall volumetric capacity of each compactor in cubic yards? Approx. 34.
d) What is the minimum acceptable clear top opening of each compactor? Approx 104”
e) What is the minimum motor size required? Example: 10hp 10HP
f) What is the power on site? Example: 208V, 3 phase, 575V, 3 phase Unknown, but we can specify later.
g) What is the size of the electrical service being supplied for each compactor? Example: 60 amps? Supplier to specify, likely open at this point
h) Is a guide island required? If so, how long? Unclear on what is meant here? Rails and guides are required. 10ft Long Guide Rails with Stops (these will get bolted to the concrete pad)
i) Is an oil heater required? Yes, and other heat tracing as required to prevent freezing and operational use of compactor in cold weather.
j) What type of hopper is required? Dog house style – accessed from loading dock (top of dock)
k) Are the compactors to be loaded via cart tippers? No, cart remains on dock and bagged waste removed and manually placed in compactor.
l) Are the compactors located outside or inside? Exterior
m) Are photos available of the area where the compactors are going to be located? Site is under construction. Refer to drawing provided.
Please kindly include your answers to the following additional questions in your proposal:Waste Equipment
