Notice of Intent to Direct Award PHSA 16199

Fraser Health Authority (“FHA”) along with other Health Authorities in British Columbia represented by their agent Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide Comprehensive Lone Worker Safety Software Solution – approximately 1300 active user licences under ongoing subscription (month to month) for a term of (1) one year at an estimated value of $93,600 CAD. PHSA may, at its discretion, extend the term of the Contract beyond the initial term to maintain continuity and alignment with organizational requirements.

In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for the FHA has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason:For additional deliveries by the original supplier of goods or services that were not included in the initial procurement, if a change of supplier for such additional goods or services:  would cause significant inconvenience or substantial duplication of costs for the procuring entity; A transition to alternative platforms would incur substantial additional costs per license, as well as initiation and change management fees, resulting in a total cost significantly exceeding the current annual fee paid by FHA.(Please see attachment for additional information).
