Description
The South Island 2025 Fall Planting program for BC Timber Sales, Strait of Georgia Business Area, consists of an estimated 81,000 seedlings to be planted in recently harvested cutblocks within the South Island Natural Resource District. The blocks are located in the Gracie Lake, Nahmint and Doran geographical areas. Planting units include both primary planting @ 1200sph and fill planting.
Some blocks are limited to ATV access only. Access maps are provided in the tender package.

Questions & Answers
All contract related questions must be submitted in writing ONLY to the following email address: Forests.StraitofGeorgiaTimberSalesOffice@gov.bc.ca. Deadline for receiving questions is 1:30 pm on August 8, 2025. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to BC Bid by  August 12, 2025.

Tender submissions must be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the tender package.

If your bid deposit is in the form of cash, money order, certified cheque or bank draft, you will not be able to e-bid. See allowable submission delivery method(s) above. Also see Conditions of Tender for acceptable bid securities.

The lowest priced or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.

Unverified bid results will be posted to BC Bid after tender opening and once awarded the contract award results will be available on BC Bid.
