Description
BC Assessment uses street-front photos to assist in appraising residential properties and for customers to view on its public website. The photos allow the improvement (i.e house) on property to be evaluated for categorization, quality, and condition.  BC Assessment is also interested in obtaining street-front photos for commercial and industrial properties. BC Assessment is requesting information from interested parties for an innovative solution to obtain the residential, commercial and industrial street-front photos. 
The intention of this Request for Information (RFI) is to:
  • Communicate to the vendor community BC Assessment’s interest in procuring a residential street-front photo solution.
  • Gather information to build BC Assessment’s understanding of features and functionalities available within a residential street front photo solution;
  • Gather information that could assist BC Assessment in the development of a future procurement process;
  • Determine ballpark pricing to be used for budgetary purposes; and
  • Determine the level of market interest.
