    Re-issue of RFP 18219 - This RFP 18431 is a re-opening of BC Hydro’s RFP 18219 which was initially issued on September 27, 2022. The purpose of this RFP 18431 is to seek additional contractor(s) to provide all qualified labour, equipment, and transportation for Transmission Standby Services on an "as and when required" basis for the Greater Vancouver Area.

    The role is to perform Transmission Inspector services for Underground Utility, attend work site, document conversations with the requesting contractor intending to perform underground work and possible observe work method applied.

    The term of this contract is expected to start on or before November 1, 2022 until October 30, 2024, with an option to renew the Term for (2) two additional successive periods of (1) one year at BC Hydro’s right and absolute discretion to renew.

    This procurement may involve negotiation.


    This opportunity is subject to Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
