Description
The Ministry is piloting an Integrated Marketplace Initiative (IMI), where an alliance of industry groups involved in the transportation sector come together within a ‘test bed’ to address a common business problem(s), with the goal of using technology to find efficiencies, increase productivity, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and ensure safety. The ‘test bed’ provides a space where industry groups can align their demands for innovation and pilot new technologies to achieve these goals.
The scope of this RFP is to develop and recommend to government the organization structure and key functions to operationalize the three elements of the IMI:
  • the alliance of industry partners at each test bed (i.e., two Alliances),
  • the innovation solution providers,  
  • the integrated marketplace operations (IMO).
