Description
- reviewing out of province licence applications for Advanced Care Paramedics (ACP) and CCPs;
- program submission reviews for those license categories;
- clinical consultations for alternate dispute resolutions related to patient care complaints, i.e. discuss the Emergency Medical Assistant’s (EMA) conduct/decisions that led to a complaint against the EMA;
- participating in the Canadian Organization of Paramedic Regulators (COPR) pan-Canadian CCP framework development which will lead to a CCP entry to practice standards examination that is equivalent across Canada; and,
- developing ACP examination content for the British Columbia provincial examinations.
More than one Contract may be awarded as a result of this RFP.
The term of the Contract is expected to be from June 1, 2023, until March 31, 2026 with an anticipated value of $10,000 per fiscal year, per contract.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 33 month(s).
