Description
Contract is for Technical & Operational Support for Drug Treatment Court of Vancouver (DTCV) Client Database.  The contractor was initially contracted to build the back-office client database for DTCV in 2008 and therefore has the necessary knowledge to keep managing it.  DTC consists of very unique business rules for only one Branch location.  Conventional IT resources would not be able to provide the same quality of specialized service with the same cost efficiencies as this contract support.
An inter-agency team consisting of Corrections, Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, Housing & Development and psychologists depend on this application to provide weekly status reports to the DTCV regarding the neediest clientele in the city.  DTCV also facilities the effective team co-ordination of client services, both historically and during active treatment.  Provincial and federal research from Corrections, Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, Simon Fraser University and the Federal Department of Justice depend on reliable quantitative data recorded by this application.
