Description
This solicitation is for the regeneration surveys of 381.9 hectares of Non-Replaceable Forest License and Small Scale Salvage lands in the Arrow, Boundary, and Kootenay Lake TSAs. There are 21 blocks requiring surveys, totaling 381.9 hectares in size. These areas will require regeneration surveys, reports, and recommendations. Any time a block has significant brush, a brushing survey should also be completed on a plot-to-plot basis, including a report, with a recommendation for treatment. Layout is also requested for areas requiring treatment (ie. unplanted areas, areas of significant brush, Not Sufficiently Restocked (NSR) areas, etc.). The contract opens June 4, 2024. There will be an optional pre-bid meeting on May 28, 2024 (register for participation – notes will be uploaded to BC Bid). Field work should take place between June 14, 2024, and October 15, 2024. NSR areas should be reported to the Ministry of Forests as they are encountered. Contract closes on November 15, 2024.
