Description
Overview of the Work/Service Required
In the past years we have completed multiple contracts for archaeological services throughout the District. We are looking to put out a new contract for these services with the option to renew. New project treatment units would be added in years 2 and 3 if the option to renew is utilized. Archaeological services are required to determine if any archaeological artifacts are located within our proposed fuel management project units and if so how to reduce or eliminate the disturbance of these sites. We are looking for professional archaeologists to provide recommendations and professional guidance.
Archaeological services will be conducted in the Selkirk Resource District (Revelstoke, Golden, Nelson, Castlegar, Creston, Grand Forks). Arch services may include Archaeology Overview Assessment (AOA), Preliminary Field Reconnaissance (PFR), and Archaeology Impact Assessment (AIA). The duration of the contract is from the signing date to March 31, 2025, with the option to renew for another 2 Terms of 12 months.
