Anxiety is the most prevalent mental health issue seen in the population we serve.
Anxiety is present in both children and youth. Depression is the second most prevalent mental health issue seen in the population we serve.
Depression is most prevalent in the adolescent/teenage population.
CYMH clinicians, consultants and business owners, have identified the need for training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) for clinicians to support children and youth with anxiety and/or depression.
The intention is to procure training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to develop a foundational understanding of the therapy as well as its practical application in two key areas:
• Anxiety for children and youth
• Depression in adolescents
The training should follow adult learning principles and should follow active and experiential learning principles. This training is expected to commence early as April
1st, 2023, with an option to renew one year term for three years. The maximum annual budget for this RFP is $40,000.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 12 month(s).
