Description
- A Metis Children and Family Engagement Coordinator to plan, develop, implement, and oversee the day-to-day operations of all MCFD engagement with Metis Chartered communities, Metis children and family services agencies and the Metis Commission.
- Expertise and advice on Indigenous policy and legislation and child, youth and family services through engaging with Metis experts and advisors.
- Engagements with Metis Children and Family Service Providers and Metis Chartered Communities
- Metis cultural resources and materials for Metis children, youth and families, workshops, and gatherings including venue costs, accommodations and travel, incidental materials, and honorariums for community members.
- Métis Children and Families Gathering in 2022 and 2024 to bring Métis children, youth, families, service providers, social workers, and government partners together to share their best practices in improving outcomes for children, youth, and families.
