Transportation and Engineering Branch (TEB) is looking to conduct a fish and fish habitat baseline study in advance of highway reconstruction on the Silver Trail. Baseline data will be used to inform an assessment under the Yukon Environmental and Socio-Economic Assessment Act (YESAA), as well as related regulatory permitting such as request for review or if required a Fisheries Act Authorization (FAA). The Consultant will recommend mitigative steps to avoid harmful alteration, disruption and destruction (HADD) of fish or fish habitat, and therefore avoid a FAA.
