    Nature of Requirements:

    The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

    The Correctional Service Canada has an obligation to ensure the safety of patients, staff, its partners, and the public. The health services mandate is to provide quality and safe health care to offenders in accordance with Accreditation Canada’s Required Organizational Practices (ROP) as well as Health Canada standards. By their very nature, critical care services in a correctional setting, due to its closure from the outside, call for best practices in hygiene and sanitation.

    Objectives: To provide housekeeping services to penitentiary care centres in the Quebec region on an as-needed basis.

    The Contractor is invited to bid for the location (complex and/or institution) of their choice. As such, they can bid for one or more locations. More than one standing offer may be awarded.

    Deliverables: The Contractor must provide cleaning services for the areas and at the frequency indicated in Annex A – Statement of Work. The Contractor must provide maintenance supplies and the labour required to perform the cleaning services. CSC will be providing the cleaning equipment that will be available to the Contractor.

    Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.
