Description of Work:
The Department of Foreign Affairs Trade and Development Canada (DFATD) has identified a requirement for multiple Network Analysts and Technology Architects Level 3 with a Secret clearance to provide support the IM/IT transformation initiatives for the Application Modernization programme in the delivery of Desktop Modernization for a Cloud Managed Desktop
The purpose of these services is to provide the next generation of endpoints, (desktops, laptops) to enhance the management, security and access to the end user. The need to keep up with industry standards is directly impacted by current configuration management solution ending be supported in 2030. This initiative is part of the Operations Modernization Programme and is in line with an existing Cloud administrative console to support the next iteration of hardware supporting all client business tools
The scope of this work resides under the Operations Modernization Programme to meet requirements for the Desktop Modernization Project. This project will develop the next generation of endpoints managed in the cloud with the intent to develop the capability to also manage on premise devises in a co-managed model. The analysis and design must focus on integration between business requirements existing today and support horizontal transformation initiatives. The configuration management tools are now available as SAAS products changing the processes for an integrated solution for managing all of our devices. Support activities will also be need when transitioning to operational phases of the project.
