Environment and Climate Change Canada requires the services of a Contractor to (1) analyse Arctic PRISM data for Ikkattuaq Migratory Bird Sanctuary in Nunavut to produce estimates of breeding shorebird population size and density and to subsequently produce a report describing the methodology of the analysis and explaining the results, (2) select sites for future Arctic PRISM surveys, and (3) provide recommendations of the feasibility of using PRISM data to estimate shorebird abundance and density in protected areas, some of which have not been surveyed.
