    Description

    The Embassy of Canada to the Netherlands requires commercial landscaping and grounds maintenance services for the two (2) properties described below:

    The Official Residence
    The Official Residence, hereby referred to as the “Residence”, is located at Groot Haesebroekseweg 44, Wassenaar 2243 ED. The Residence building and grounds is designated as heritage property. The grounds maintenance area of the Residence represents approximately 88,000 square meters, and a small courtyard.

    The Chancery
    The Chancery is located at Sophialaan 7, The Hague, 2514 JP. The grounds maintenance area of the Chancery represents approximately 260m2 square meters and include lawns, flowerbeds, driveways and paved areas. It also includes a courtyard, which measure 70 square meters.

    The objective of this requirement is to provide landscaping and grounds maintenance services without interruption, at the Residence and Chancery grounds, as per industry standards and best practices, thus maintaining the appearance and health of the grounds and the representational image of Canada in the Netherlands. The services will also support the certification of the Chancery under the TRUE zero waste certification, and subsequent recertifications. To achieve this objective, the levels of service and their specifications described herein must be followed.

    The Contractor shall provide landscaping and grounds maintenance services to the Residence and Chancery grounds hereby referred to as the “Properties”, including all personnel, materials, labour, supervision, tools, equipment, and other items related to the services as described herein, and is exempt only from those items that are specifically noted.

    Contract duration

    The estimated contract period will be 24 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/01/01.
