This Request for Proposals (the RFP) is an invitation by the Province of Nova Scotia (the province) on behalf of the Department of Public Works to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Electrical Maintenance and Construction Services for Traffic Signals, Highway Lighting, Flashing Lights and Traffic Classifiers for Cape Breton, Nova Scotia as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the Deliverables). This RFP is being conducted pursuant to the Nova Scotia Sustainable Procurement Policy and Procurement Manual. The intention of the Department is to engage one (1) qualified electrical maintenance Company with a multi-disciplinary team to maintain, verify, inspect, and evaluate electrical maintenance, construction services or other electrical work on a scheduled (regular maintenance services) and emergency (on-demand, emergency call-out services) basis in accordance with the Department Standard Specification, Highway Construction and MainteTender notices on CanadaBuys published for Nova Scotia Public Sector Entities may not reflect amendments.
