    RFP AMENDMENT 1:

    The purpose of amendment 1 is to extend the solicitation closing date to October 15, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. EDT.

    Canadian Heritage (PCH) would like to retain the services of an environmental
    consulting firm to provide the necessary labour, materials, and equipment for
    conducting water and air quality testing, manage abatement work, approval of
    Type 2 and 3 containment and asbestos testing. The work will be performed in
    accordance with federal regulations governing the handling and removal of
    asbestos. The scope of the project includes analysis, identification, sampling, and
    safe disposal of asbestos-containing materials (ACM) to ensure the health and
    safety of occupants and workers in the designated area. PCH intends to issue one
    (1) Contract for the initial Contract period with an irrevocable option to extend the
    resulting Contract term by up to five (5) additional years.

    The estimated contract period will be 6 month(s).
