    Description

    SCOPE OF WORK

    1. General

    Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) requires the implementation of a DDC (Direct Digital Controls) retrofit at the Pacific Wildlife Research Centre (PWRC) in Delta, BC. The work to be performed includes upgrading DDC systems in the building as well as replacing HVAC components that are nearing end of life. The work to be performed is detailed in a tender package ("the tender package"), prepared by the consultant PRISM specifically for this project.

    2. Objective

    Complete a DDC retrofit and HVAC equipment replacement at PWRC.

    3. Tasks

    A. Supply and install DDC equipment.
    B. Supply and install required replacement HVAC equipment to be replaced.
    C. Complete DDC integration and commissioning.

    4. Location

    The work is to be performed at the Pacific Wildlife Research Centre, 5421 Robertson Road, Delta BC.

    MANDATORY SITE VISIT

    1. There will be a site visit on July 24, 2024 at 13:00h PDT. Interested bidders are to meet at the Pacific Wildlife Research Centre, 5421 Robertson Road, Delta, BC.

    2. The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the Bidder must sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will be rejected.

    3. Safety Attire: In order to be guaranteed access to the site visit all persons should have the proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site.

    The estimated contract period will be 6 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/09/02.
