Acquisition of Environmental Chambers Cyclic

Solicitation number 23-58250-B

Publication date

Closing date and time 2024/06/14 14:00 EDT

    Description

An Invitation to Bid was initially sent to holders of Supply Arrangement # E60PV-19EQUI on April 5, 2024 but we did not receive any bids. For this reason, we are opening this as a public RFP.

The environmental chambers will be used to study the temperature dependent thermal conductivity of closed-cell insulation materials. They can subject the samples to cyclic weathering factors such as temperature and humidity to mimic real-world environmental conditions. The effect of cyclic weather exposures on the thermal conductivity of closed-cell insulations has not been investigated well. So, the data developed from this study will be useful for the development of testing standards and to understand the effect of cyclic weather exposures.

    Contract duration

The estimated contract period will be 2 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/06/28.
