OBJECTIVE:
The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) requires the supply and delivery of seventeen (17) new exterior drop boxes for the use of taxpayers to drop off mail, as further described at Annex A: Statement of Work (SOW). The required CRA locations where the drop boxes are to be supplied and delivered are listed in Appendix A1 of Annex A: Statement of Work. Exterior drop boxes are positioned outside designated CRA locations to securely collect envelopes deposited by taxpayers. The CRA mailrooms are currently in the process of replacing drop boxes that are beyond repair.
A resultant Contract from this RFP process will be valid for a one-year period and will be used to purchase 17 exterior drop boxes, with an option to purchase additional units during that timeframe. Additionally, there are four (4) one (1) year option periods available to be exercised at the discretion of the CRA that will allow for the purchase by CRA of additional optional units.
RFP CLOSING DATE:
Bids must be received on or before March 22nd 2023, no later than 14:00 EST, as follows:
A Bidder must use the Connect service (which can be found at https://www.canadapost-postescanada.ca/cpc/en/business/postal-services/…) provided by the Canada Post Corporation. To submit a bid using the Connect service, the Bidder must send an email as early as possible, at least six business days prior to the solicitation closing date and time, (in order to ensure a response), that includes the bid solicitation number to the Bid Receiving Unit requesting to open a Connect conversation.
