    Description

    Environment and Climate Change Canada has a requirement for packing and crating services for the annual arctic sealift resupply. The services will be required every calendar year during spring and summer for the next 5 years as detailed in the Statement of Work, Annex A to the bid solicitation.
    The work requested consists mainly of, but is not limited to, the design and manufacturing of containers in treated wood, crate repair, and vacuum packaging of equipment parts. The Contractor shall carry out the design and manufacture of wood crates to contain various equipment of all types; for example: electronic parts, armament parts, mechanical parts, fuel and oil drums, piping, etc. Crating and packaging services are required at ECCC facilities located in Burlington and Downsview Ontario.
