    Defence Construction Canada – Invitation to Tender (ITT) for the Manufacturing and Installation of Shipyard Crane for Jetty NJ, DCC Project Number HX01037, CFB Halifax, Nova Scotia

    In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the provinces where the project will be carried out, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Technical Proposals and Tender Proposals from Contractors to provide the design, manufacture, painting, inspection, delivery, site assembly and erection, commissioning, testing, certification for use, a 3-year warranty period, spare parts, and training for one (1) self-propelled, rail-mounted, level-luffing, slewing-type portal crane with single boom, main and auxiliary hoisting hooks, and ancillary equipment, including tie-downs and crane stops for Jetty NJ.

    Jetty NJ is a 247 m marginal jetty at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Halifax to support the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) Atlantic Fleet. Jetty NJ is a concrete caisson marginal jetty structure and is located just north of the Macdonald Bridge in Halifax Harbour, Halifax, Nova Scotia (NS), Canada.

    Information provided by the Tenderers will be evaluated using the established criteria in the ITT. The purpose of this ITT process to put in place a contract with a Contractor for the manufacture, supply, and installation of a crane for Jetty NJ.

    The Security Requirements for this project are identified in the ITT Documents.

    The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the range of $10,200,000
