    Description

    This notice of proposed procurement cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number 30003611 dated March 9, 2023 with a closing of March 24, 2023 at 2:00PM E.D.T. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.

    The Big Bar Landslide Response, Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), is responsible for remediating the impact of a landslide on the Fraser River, approximately 100 kilometres north of Lillooet, BC. Based on the west coast, within the Pacific Region, the Big Bar team is tasked with executing temporary operations and establishing a long-term solution to fish passage at the slide site. DFO and its partners are currently assessing the remaining effects of the slide and exploring further solutions to improve fish passage. Following extensive efforts to date, the response team requires ongoing monitoring of hydraulic conditions and engineering support.

    Estimated quantity of commodity: one (1) of each of the following:

    senior Professional Engineer (5.4)
    junior Engineering Graduate (5.3)
    senior Draftsperson/Illustrator (5.1)

    Duration of contract: from contract award to April 30, 2026

    Time frame of delivery: from contract award to April 30, 2026

    This requirement is open only to those Supply Arrangement Holders under E60ZT-18TSPS who qualified under Tier 1 for the following resource stream:

    5. Technical, Engineering and Maintenance Services Stream

    for suppliers who are SA-holders: first, email only the DFO Procurement Officer on the file and request to be invited. If you are not qualified under the stream(s) and category(ies) required in spite of being an SA-holder, you must then contact PSPC's SA Authority for the TSPS SA to update your supplier profile. Proof of being added must be provided to the DFO Procurement Officer on the file before the invitation request will be considered.
