Description

Zooplankton samples were collected as part of Knowledge and Ecosystem-Based Approach in Baffin Bay (KEBABB) and science programs in the High Canadian Arctic for regulatory and fisheries management processes and for conservation initiatives supporting Tuvaijuittuq and the Tallurutiup Imanga National Conservation Area, as dictated by DFO’s mandate. The data from the samples are key ecosystem health parameters in the Baffin Bay and Canadian High Arctic region. Specialized analyses are required for the assessment of the abundance of species, diversity and taxonomic composition of these samples to further inform the fisheries management and conservation process in the area.

Contract duration

The estimated contract period will be 10 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2023/05/22.
