Description of Work:
Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) requires the services of IT Security professional services contractors on an “as and when requested” basis to support the Technology-Enabled Business Solutions Innovation & Integration (TEBSII) section by providing IT security risk assessment, management and mitigation services to bolster and augment the existing IT security team within DFATD
Requested services will help to ensure the protection of DFATD’s data and information systems from cyber-attacks and data theft for current and future systems and data. This work will support TEBSII technical security services through the analysis of existing IT security business, operations and security requirements, application of the SA&A Information System Security Implementation Process (ISSIP) activities and vulnerability assessment and penetration testingThe.
The expected outcome for the contract is to hire IT Security design specialists (up to five (5) to perform IT Security design tasks for high-priority IM/IT projects, initiatives, and supporting Change Requests (CRQs) to facilitate the Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) process required by TBS, before an IM/IT system can go live in the Government of Canada
Currently there is no incumbent providing the services outlined in this solicitation
