    Description

    Honey adulterated with foreign sugars has been identified as an issue globally. Testing by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) using stable isotope ratio analysis has shown cases of honey adulteration with C4 sugars. The CFIA has identified a need for nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) profiling to examine the potential for honey adulteration with C3 sugars.
