    Description

    To provide, Caliper-sized Tree planting and Related Services for the National Capital Commission in support of the 100,000 trees initiative. In order to ensure capacity and availability to meet seasonal tree planting targets, this contract is divided into three parts:

    Part 1: Contract for Fall 2025 Tree Planting and Related Services at Stanley Park, King Edward Park and Core Areas of the National Capital area in the province of Ontario as per this tender’s Appendices, at the rates outlined in the Bidder Price Form 1. The resulting contractor shall commence work immediately upon contract award and complete the planting by November 30, 2025.

    This contract will be awarded to the highest scoring bidder.

    Part 2: Optional Services for Fall 2025 Tree Planting along Kichi Zibi Mikan in the National Capital area in the province of Ontario as per this tender’s Appendices, at the rates outlined in the Bidder Price Form 2. The resulting contractor shall commence work immediately upon contract award and complete the planting by November 30, 2025.

    This is an optional additional service that is anticipated to be awarded to the highest scoring bidder or to be awarded under the Standing Offer (Part 3).

    Part 3: Standing Offer for 2025 – 2027 Additional Caliper Tree Planting and Related Services in the National Capital Area, as per this tender’s Appendices. An estimated total of 1,000 trees are forecast to be planted under this contract in each planting season, for a total of approximately 1,000 trees in 2025 and 2,000 trees per year in 2026 and 2027. Call-ups under the Standing Offer are expected to range from $15,000 to $750,000, with the majority of call-ups expected to exceed $100,000. The resulting contractor shall commence work immediately upon award of a Purchase Order and complete the planting for fall projects by November and for spring projects by June 30, of the given year, unless otherwise specified in the contract.

    This contract will be awarded to the three (3) highest scoring bidders, including the bidder contracted under Part 1.

    Contract duration

    The estimated contract period will be 26 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/09/29.
