This requirement is for Natural Resources Canada
This procurement is subject to the Directive on Government Contracts, Including Real Property Leases, in the Nunavut Settlement Area (the Nunavut Directive). The solicitation is limited to firms registered on the Inuit Firm Registry (IFR).
Work Description:
Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has a requirement for the demolition and rebuild of the Magnetic Observatory in Baker Lake, Nunavut.
The work will include, but not limited to, the following:
• Container delivery: Move three shipping containers from their current storage location to the jobsite.
• Demolition: Collapse and remove the existing 20x40 building, including removal and disposal of all materials.
• Site Preparation
• Electrical Work
• Construction: The new building will be constructed using SIP (Structural Insulated Panels).
• Insulation

This Contract must be completed by October 31, 2023.

The estimated contract period will be 4 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2023/07/01.
