Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has a requirement for Live Staking Restoration at the Northwest Marsh Unit of Vaseux-Bighorn National Wildlife Area, 2023-2026 as detailed in the Statement of Work, Annex A to the bid solicitation. The period of the contract is from contract award to March 31, 2026.
This is a multi-year project that focuses on increasing the riparian ecotones and providing restoration site maintenance (watering, invasive species management) to support migratory birds, species at risk, and conservation outcomes within the NWA.
